Leah Duncan
Apostle Deon Duncan comes from a rich heritage of ministers, which began with the powerful Apostolic, Prophetic, Deliverance anointing on his grandfather – Dr. Levi Duncan. He is the second son of Apostles Vivian and Jemma Duncan – senior pastors of Divine Destiny Worship Center, Trinidad & Tobago and operates in a strong deliverance anointing. Apostle Deon knew that one day, he too, would oversee his own ministry. That appointed time came in 2024 when Bethel House of Worship was founded and launched by Apostle Deon and his wife Apostle Leah Duncan.
Professionally, Apostle Deon began his career as a computer programmer on Wall Street and still operates within the financial services industry today. He has authored the book, “How to Make It from The Classroom to The Cubicle” – An instructional guide for early career professionals. He is also a certified life coach and motivational speaker. Among his favorite scripture verses is Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Apostle Deon together with Apostle Leah have always had a great desire to see successful kingdom marriages. As a result, they founded The Marriage Confessional – with a mission “to promote successful marriages through healthy conversations.”
Professionally, Apostle Leah spent roughly 15 years as a financial news anchor, reporter, and producer in New York. She has also led mentoring initiatives at New York University and served as an adjunct professor to graduate journalism students.
Both Apostles Deon and Leah were born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago and met during their early teenage years. They have been married since 2008 and have three children – Darion Emanuel, Daniel Elijah and Lael Taylor – their pride and joy. They are both extremely enthusiastic about advocating for children with special needs.

P – We are PROPHETIC. We flow as The Holy Spirit leads and guides. Psalm 143:10
A – We are ACCOUNTABLE. We know that each one must give an account of himself to God according to Romans 14:12
C – We are COMMITTED. We are committed to God and the studying of His Word, knowing that everything that we need is in Him. 2 Peter 1:3
T – We are TEACHABLE. We are yielded to God as His humble servants desiring for Him to mold us into who He wants us to be. Isaiah 64:8
Foundation
We Believe:
The Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).
In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; 1Timothy 2:5).
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).
In repentance. Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ. (Acts 2:21, 3:19; 1 John 1:9).
In sanctification. Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11).
In the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues. (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6).
The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus’ great commission. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).
In the healing of the sick. Healing is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus and is included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; 1 Corinthians 12:9, Romans 11:29).
In the five-fold ministry gifts. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are given to The Church by Christ, to equip God’s people for the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
In the anointing with oil and the laying on of hands according to James 5:14 (KJV), which states – Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
It is God’s will for His followers to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life:
- Spiritual (John 3:3-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10).
- Mental and Emotional (2 Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3).
- Physical (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
- Financial (Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Psalm 34:10, 84:11)
In the covenant of marriage as defined by Genesis 2:22-24.
In water baptism by immersion. Baptism by water should be observed by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed in Christ as their Savior and Lord. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4).
In Holy Communion. The partaking of bread and wine (symbolizing “Jesus’ broken body and His shed blood”) is done in remembrance of Jesus’ suffering and death. (John 6:48,51,53-57; Luke 22:19,20; 2 Pet. 1:4; 1 Cor. 11:25).
